Meet Bek + Susie...
I’m a maternity and child health nurse of more than 20 years, and a mum of three. My third was a surprise: a baby boy, five years after we thought our family was complete, and after two girls.
On maternity leave with him, I couldn’t find baby products I actually loved. My mum had been asking me to start a business with her for years. This time, I finally said yes, and From Day Dot began in 2017.
Two of my three babies have allergies, so what touches their skin has always mattered to me. Babies are in nappies around the clock, so I wanted premium materials and nothing on their skin they don’t need. That’s why we added nappies.
Our best-selling Sunday Luxe started as a sketch on a piece of cardboard. I have zero design experience, so I cut it out to size just to see how it would look.
And honestly? I’m not a naturally organised person. Juggling work, a business and three kids, I need all the help I can get. So everything we make is designed to make mum life simpler, for you and for me.
We’re still a small, family-owned Aussie team, and every product still has to pass my test first. We’re so glad you’re here.
